Do 12-seeds beat 5-seeds even more often when the 5-seed’s football team beat the 12-seed’s by 36 points four months ago?

The Wisconsin Badgers are in the NCAA Tournament…as a 12-seed!

Every good college hoops fan knows – heck, even bad college hoops fans know – the most likely place to see a tournament upset is in a 5-seed vs. 12-seed game.

And here we are, at the 12-seed, playing…

…the Florida St. Seminoles!

Those of my particular geographic bent will recall that the Seminoles beat – no, embarrassed - us Badgers with a 49-13 drubbing in the Champs Bowl on December 27. It was ugly, made even uglier by the fact that a good friend of mine is a Florida St. alumnus.

And there was trash talking. And it was good. And then we got whooped.

And now, here we are.

As my g-g-g-good friend k-k-k-Ken Pile would say: “…..revenge!”

Meghan might want to watch out for this one. Michelle probably knows karate.

Just thought I’d throw in a little racism with my sexism.

And since this whole “catfight” thing isn’t bringing the traffic like I’d hoped, maybe bringing back the fake Michelle Malkin bikini picture will!

Let me reiterate: the above picture is fake. Michelle is way better looking than that.

But hey, the Sarah Palin bikini thing worked for R.S. McCain, and that was fake, too.

Rule 2 Sunday

It’s Sunday, and thus the day that we round up all the websites and blogs that linked to The TrogloPundit during the week in accordance with R.S. McCain’s Rule #2, a.k.a. The Full Metal Jacket Reacharound.

And if, in fact, reciprocal linking is a metaphorical “reacharound,” then Robert Stacy McCain and I have our arms wrapped so many times around one another that we could be stand-ins for the next Fantastic Four movie.

Of course, McCain could say that about himself and a lot of other bloggers, unfaithful blogwhore that he is. You can’t even insult the guy, because he just figures it into his Rule 2 ledger.

I can’t stay mad at him, though. Not as long as he keeps topping my referrer list.
