Everybody congratulate me

Do other states have Republican Party units for congressional districts? Wisconsin does. Today, I was elected Secretary for Wisconsin’s 2nd Congressional District Republican Party. I got the job because, as one of my nominators informed everyone, I can both read and write.
Obtaining the position does not, I was disappointed to learn, mean that I get to ignore my taxes from here on out.
Anyway. Since I didn’t have a camera with me today, here’s an artist’s rendering of the event:
