Headline: Supermodel Kathy Ireland Lashes Out Against Pro Choice

In a blatant attempt to catch the tails of Carrie Prejean-like publicity (and maybe an anchor job at Fox News?), Kathy Ireland has publicly declared herself to be pro-life.

Ha. I kid. About her motivation, I mean. Or at least I can’t prove it.

I just read about this today:

It’s no secret that the majority of Hollywood stars are strong advocates for a woman’s right to choose whether or not she wants to terminate a pregnancy, however former “Sports Illustrated” supermodel-turned-entrepreneur-turned-author Kathy Ireland has gone against the grain of the glitterati and spoken out against abortion.

Note the phrase “lashes out” in the headline. One would expect more sympathetic writing at Fox News. Maybe they’re not as kneejerk as some people think.

While we’re on the subject, let’s give some love to Patricia Heaton, who played the way-too-good-for-her-husband (remind you of anyone?) Debra Barone on TV’s “Everybody Loves Raymond.”

She’s been outspoken on pro-life issues, too (proving S.Logan right), and still landed a starring role opposite Kelsey Grammar.

BTW: maybe Yuri Fujikawa should come out conservative on some issue, too. Has she? Does anybody know?
