Donald Douglas notes, to my discomfort, that there are still adherents to Marxism in the world:

Professor Panitch obviously takes his Marxism seriously, and he makes the case for the resurgence of Marxist theories as the basis for a new-age political economy of socialism at the new Foreign Policy, “Thoroughly Modern Marx.”

…He is, in other words, the real thing – an academic scribbler giving theoretical strength to madmen in authority.

Donald then goes on to explain, in detail, using real-life, concrete examples, why this guy needs to seriously re-think his choice of breakfast cereals.

Okay: does everybody get how If You Send It, Trog Will Link It (IYSITWiLI) Week is going to work now? Because I think that’s enough examples.
