Obama’s Fairy Dust

A little Hayekianism from Forbes’ John Tamny:

…the true contributor to our economic downturn wasn’t so much the failure of banks, but instead a bipartisan failure within Washington to let market forces prevail whereby finance substitutes would have entered a marketplace badly served by various dead banks walking.

I wouldn’t have used quite so many clauses in that sentence (not to mention the passive tense at the end, there). In fact, I’d have made it at least two sentences. Still. Word.
