Headline: Angelina vs. Megan: War Heats Up Between Hollywood’s Hottest Ladies

That’s a little overblown, but whaddaya want. I found it on the internet.

There’s tension brewing between two of the world’s most stunning women.

Angelina Jolie is said to be furious that “Transformers” starlet Megan Fox has been tipped to nab her leading role in the next “Tomb Raider” film.

The prequel will focus on Lara Croft’s younger years — and Oscar-winner Angie looks set to be given the boot in favor of the fresher-faced Meg.

A source said: “Angie was intent on reprising her role. She feels it’s something she helped define and feels robbed that it looks likely to be handed to someone who she considers less capable than her.”

Well. And all that, after Fox went out of her way to be obeisant:

‘Angelina’s a powerful person and I bet she would eat me alive. I guess that is why I’m afraid of her.’

Both actresses have starred in big budget hero action movies. Megan has appeared in The Transformers and Angelina has appeared in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

‘There have been a lot of films I’ve had to pass on because I don’t want people thinking I’m trying to emulate her,’ Megan tells The Sun.

Here’s an idea: word is a Wonder Woman movie is around the corner. Fox already dissed the idea of playing Wonder Woman:

“Wonder Woman is a lame superhero… She flies around in her invisible jet and her weaponry is a lasso that makes you tell the truth. I just don’t get it.”

Add superhero fans to all the “white trash, hillbilly, anti-gay, super bible-beating people in Middle America” she’s already insulted. Nice going, there, Meg.

Anyhoo, here’s what we do: let Fox have Lara Croft. Jolie can play Wonder Woman. She’d be better in that role than Fox would, anyway.

Agreed? Agreed.
