Oh, God, that was a bad joke. You loved it, too. Admit it.
Oh, right. You don’t understand why it was a bad joke yet. Because of this map of how much Cap & Trade will cost each state, annually, in millions of dollars:
See? The red states are the ones that have to pay more. They’re seeing red.
Pretty bad joke, right?
Yep. Anyway, turns out they used red for a reason:
- I notice Ohio and Pennsylvania are two of the four hardest-hit states. They look good in red, don’t you think?
- Florida, too.
- Texas gets it the worst: over a billion dollars a year. Another swipe at Dubya!
