Rep. Waxman hospitalized after feeling ill

Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.), a major player in the climate-change [Cap & Trade - ed.] legislation that passed the House last week, was hospitalized on Tuesday, The Associated Press reports.

Waxman was not feeling well and checked into the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, his spokesman told the AP. There, he received “routine testing” and is “feeling much better now.”

We certainly hope he makes a full recovery. And then we hope the next few years of his political career are filled with nothing but disappointment and heartbreak, surrounded by embarrassment, wrapped tightly in defeat.
