Oscar-winning actress (who’s also killed mummies) calls for Botox Ban
Rachel Weisz, on actors using Botox:
“It should be banned for actors, as steroids are for sportsmen,” the Mummy actress tells UK Harper’s Bazaar.
“Acting is all about expression; why would you want to iron out a frown?” continued Weisz, who won an Oscar for The Constant Gardener.
Anybody else ever heard of “The Constant Gardener?” Me, neither. Here’s Rachel from one of the Mummy movies:
Maybe I could pick her out of a crowd of attractive brunettes, and maybe not. But this still sounds like a great idea. You’re all already aware of my dislike for plastic surgery. Let’s go one step further: make actors and actresses undergo drug testing (Lord knows what we’d find). Give them suspensions if they test positive. Strip them of awards if it turns out they were “using” at the time.
Come on, tell me you wouldn’t love to see this headline: “Sarandon stripped of Oscar amid beauty enhancement scandal”
Actress Susan Sarandon will be stripped of her 1995 Best Actress Oscar after medical records showed evidence of Botox, a performance enhancing drug, in her system. Oscar officials said the award will now go to runner-up Elizabeth Shue, for her role as Sera in “Leaving Las Vegas.”
Yay, Elisabeth!
That’s for Blogprof. Neither steroids nor Botox contributed to the taking of this picture. Not so far as I know, anyway.

Sorry but i agree with Rachel here, botox is an addictive drug that needs regulation. Rachel is right with her opinion.

[...] this is a good idea. I especially like the part where Susan Sarandon is stripped of her Oscar. [...]
