At Townhall:
If the Democrats obey Obama’s commands and pass health-care reform legislation by the August recess, they will be committing partisan suicide, akin to lemmings going over the cliff en masse.
Heck, that almost sounds worth it. If the new Republican majority has the stones to repeal the whole thing as soon as they take over.

UPDATE - they may not be that crazy after all:
The Senate will not vote on health care reform legislation before the August congressional recess, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday.
A little less crazy, maybe.

The scariest part is they might even know this will damage them in the next cycle. But they just can’t help it. Increasing the size and scope of government is just their nature.
