Brett Favre needs a new PR guy

Brett Favre needs a little PR help, I think. For instance:

…on Tuesday, when he signed with the hated Minnesota Vikings, and then in Favre fashion, said “If you’re a true Packer fan, you understand.”

That was the line that still had fans fuming as they filed out of Stadium View Sports Bar in Green Bay.

I also heard him on TV saying: “The thing about my legacy, it’s mine.”

Well, no, Brett, it isn’t. Luckily for you, though, by the time you get done trashing it, you’ll be the only one who wants it.

What are you going to do when you’ve got the quarterback who led the New York Jets to a 9-7 and AFC East third-place finish last year in the house? You gotta trade or release the guy who helped your team to a 10-6 record and a first-place finish in the NFC North, right?

Well, now that Brett Favre is onboard for the Minnesota Vikings, it’s looking like Tarvaris Jackson is history. The team is apparently trying to trade or release him by Friday, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
