Maybe he was implying violence against Obama’s white half?

August 20, 2009

If you haven’t heard yet: MSNBC did a report about people openly carrying firearms at protests, and made it out to be racism. See, we’ve got a black president, and all these white people feel threatened by that, so they’re arming themselves.

Dumb rednecks.

Oh, except: the guy they filmed carrying a gun was a black guy. Oh, except: they didn’t show you that he was a black guy. They pulled the shot in real tight, so all you could see was the gun. Then they called it evidence of racism.

You can watch the video at The Sundries Shack, where I first saw the story. More links and details there, too.

Hot Air also has some stuff (and they got the Memeorandum thread); and Donald Douglas has a letter from Americans for Limited Government, demanding that the people responsible be fired. An excerpt:

Your network has besmirched the dignity and honor of American people. You have endangered the life of the President of the United States. You have purposely fanned racial tensions. And you have deliberately lied to your own audience.

Quit holding back, now, guys. Tell us how you feel.

One more thing: remember the story about the black guy who was pretending to be a white supremacist on Facebook?

Is he working at MSNBC? Just wondering.
