…and I find my lack of NFL knowledge…disturbing.
There was a time in my life when I could have told you the names of every starting quarterback in the league. And probably their backups. I knew every head coach’s name and who was playing whom next week and what their chances were.
Not anymore. Somewhere along the line – somewhere between kids two and three, I think – my priorities got shifted all out of whack.
So help me out, people. Advise. I need to get my draft lists ready. Running back first, I figure, then QB. We need to pick team defenses, too.

Don’t be afraid to pick a good defense when others are still trying to get their 2nd QB’s or 3rd receivers. The top defense is going to score consistent points for you. I got laughed at when I chose the Bears defense in a league a couple years ago. I chose them earlier than people thought I should, but I ended up just out of the championship game thanks in no small part to a good defense.
That is my one and only possible contribution to your situation. I hope it helps, if it doesn’t then it’s your own fault for listening to me.
Not sure if you already drafted. I only did it for two seasons, don’t take my advice but what I seen from the winners when I played is ……………………………..don’t take my advice.
The one thing I will say you will end up rooting against the packers some weeks if your game is on the line. I’ve seen it happen. It is a blast. Don’t forget the trash talk.

I thought you were picking mostly Viqueens.
Make sure to get a kicker early, they go fast. Also, Manning retired. Both of them.
