Quote of the day, Star Trek Review edition:
Via Jamie Jeffords:
Wesley falls in love with a pretty girl who turns out to be a slobbering monster. He is lucky. Usually, you have to marry a woman before you find out she is actually a vicious creature aiming to rip your throat out if the toilet seat is left up.
I’m sure he isn’t speaking from personal experience.
Jamie also notes that a remake of the 1981 classic “Excalibur” is in the works.
The rather cheesy trailer:
The movie’s better. Hey, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Qui-Gon Jinn are in it.
Anyway, we can’t stop them from doing a re-make. If they’re gonna, they’re gonna.
But, guys, you’d better not screw it up.
While we’re on the subject of Liam Neeson and remakes: Neeson is going to play Zeus in a remake of “Clash of the Titans,” and John “Hannibal” Smith in a remake of “The A-Team.”
I had no idea his career was going so poorly.
Although, to put a positive spin on it, if there are two movies that couldn’t possibly be made any worse, those are them.

Have you seen Taken? Awesome movie.
Now hold on here hoss. Liam Neeson as Hannibal Smith? Are you f-ing serious? Because that my friend is a Travesty. Vin Diesel maybe, but definitely NOT Liam Neeson.
The A-Team was Righteous. They can’t muck it up. They just can’t.
