Jones could be in trouble now. Maybe Obama will fire him for drawing a connection between 9/11 and Iraq.
Van Jones, uber-radical member of the Obama administration, blamed 9/11 on the United States two days after the Twin Towers fell. His exact words:
“The bombs the government drops in Iraq are the bombs that blew up in New York City. The US cannot bomb its way out of this one. Safety at home requires justice abroad.”
By the way: when I call Jones an “uber-radical,” I mean that as compared to the population at large. Compared to the average White House appointee, I’d bet, he’s just an average White House appointee.
