The acronym would be “ANER,” or “ANEOR,” or maybe just “NER,” all of which are completely nonsensical.
Which is appropriate, considering what the acronym stands for.
In a column titled “Making Bush Look Like a Piker,”The outstandingly named Veronique de Rugy writes:
The Bush-era deficits were bad. I know. I spent eight years complaining about them. How does President Obama stack up?
…First, while President Obama is fond of promoting what he calls a “new ethic of responsibility”—in fact he named his first budget, for fiscal 2010, “A New Era of Responsibility”—that is a misrepresentation of his actual budget plan. For each of Obama’s years in office, the deficit is projected to be larger than any year during Bush’s terms.
Hey, look, a chart!
I think I speak for pretty much everyone when I say: if that’s “A New Era of Responsibility (ANER),” I’d hate to see what an Era of Irresponsibility looks like.

“A New ‘Socialist-Wild’ Era of Responsibility” would be the ANSWER.
