Just a few random thoughts on today’s events. I mean, today’s <em>event</em>.

• Who would have won the Nobel if Hillary had won the presidency?

• If the Nobel Committee chose Obama because “For 108 years, the Norwegian Nobel Committee has sought to stimulate precisely that international policy and those attitudes for which Obama is now the world’s leading spokesman,” why didn’t they just give it to themselves for the same reason?

• The Nobel Committee won’t tell us who nominated Obama, but there’s nothing stopping the nominator from ‘fessing up. Will he? Or she? And if not, why not?

• Why does it seem so ridiculous that somebody started a “Help Barack Obama Win the Heisman Trophy” Facebook group?
