A platypusian M.C. Escher-esque shuffle-step on Darwinism? Or Obamania getting way out of hand?
It’s official. Vegetarianism has gone too far:
A Central American spider, Bagheera kiplingi, is the first arachnid that primarily eats plants…While a number of spiders have been discovered that eat nectar or pollen occasionally, this is the only one that survives primarily on plant material.
Great. Next they’ll find a spider – and let’s keep in mind, these are spiders. Spiders climb up onto your face in the middle of the night to plant their spores in your skin. They’re sneaky, and evil, and malicious, and next they’re going to find one that’ll only eat vegetation that’s fallen naturally to the ground, to avoid having to kill innocent plants for food.
It isn’t right.
Oh, and as if that’s not bad enough, these spiders are commies, too:
Additionally, the spider lives a cooperative life, again not typical spider behavior. Spiders are typically territorial but hundreds of B. kiplingi have been observed gathering on one plant.
And even that’s not the worst of it:
Also, observers viewed families sharing nests and males defending nests from ant attacks, behaviors that are unique to B. kiplingi.
Yes. That right there is the final repudiation of Obama-ism – an ism that incorporates all other liberal “progressive” isms under a single, Frenchified banner.
See, spiders don’t “defend” against ants. Spiders attack ants. Spiders kick ants’ asses, and then go back for more without even wiping the little ant crumbs from the corners of their horrifying mouths.
Except, that is, for emasculated liberal spiders who’ve been taken in by all that “progressive” non-violent living-as-one-with-nature crap. Those spiders have to “share nests,” and “gather” to “defend” against little bugs with only 75% as many legs as them.
