Pundette has the story: Uncle Sam is giving away golf carts.
It’s more government of the absurd and there’s no end in sight. The IRS has ruled that certain golf-carts qualify for a high-mileage automobile tax credit and is, in effect, giving them away.
The federal credit – up to $5,500 – is structured in such a way that you might be able to buy one for free, and some dealers are taking advantage of that to sell, sell, sell.
Which means one thing: bubble.
