Amazon deforestation ‘record low’
The level of deforestation in the Amazon has dropped by 45% and is the lowest on record since monitoring began 21 years ago, Brazil’s government says.
Maybe all the easy-to-reach rainforest has already been deforested, so deforestation has to slow down, just because it’s harder to get to. Has anybody thought of that?
