Looks like the answer is yes.

December 9, 2009

Looks like the answer is yes. Ben Smith writes:

Perhaps the greatest measure of Obama’s declining support is that just 50% of voters now say they prefer having him as President to George W. Bush, with 44% saying they’d rather have his predecessor. Given the horrendous approval ratings Bush showed during his final term that’s somewhat of a surprise…

Little bit, yeah, and Bush’s meaninglessly rising poll numbers aren’t likely thanks to core conservatives. They’re still largely mad at him, or so my anecdotal experience tells me.

In other news, somebody’s spending time and money measuring Dubya’s approval ratings.

One more thing. I don’t know much about Ben Smith. Is he a lib? Because this kind of seems like a shot at Bush:

…and an indication that voters are increasingly placing the blame on Obama for the country’s difficulties instead of giving him space because of the tough situation he inherited.

Or maybe we did give Obama space, and then more space, and then more space, and now we’ve run out of space to give him. Or just out of patience.

Via Memeorandum. Also, Allahpundit if this means Cheney 2012 is on.
