I wondered what they were going to do once I told them TrogloPundit wasn’t for sale.

And now I know:

…leading center-right web site Hot Air has been acquired by Salem Communications for an undisclosed sum. Sources close to the deal claim that Michelle Malkin, the conservative pundit and sole owner of Hot Air, has been in talks with Salem for some time, but the announcement was timed to coincided with the Conservative Political Action Conference, which opens tomorrow in Washington D.C.

There’s some bloggentary out there wondering how this will affect Ed Morrissey and Allahpundit, Hot Air’s two big bloggers. My answer: dunno, but whatever happens, Ed and AP will always be blogosphere players; the Rightysphere will go on as healthy as ever; and TrogloPundit will still not be for sale.

At least, not for any price I’ve been offered so far.
