What did we think of the health care “summit?”
I’m with Megan McArdle:
I think it was a phenomenal waste of time.
Megan goes on to discuss possible payoffs, theoretical payoffs, etc. The what-ifs and why-nots. Mostly, though, what was the point? Everybody was going to leave the room arm-in-arm, singing kumbaya? Public opinion was going to swing solidly in favor of ObamaCare?
No. All that summit accomplished, besides blogospherically raising my homeboy Paul Ryan’s profile, was to give us internetizens something to write about.
