Ah, fer cry-eye.
Allahpundit: Arizona House passes “Birther” bill.
The bill – still just a bill, not a law – requires national parties to submit
…documents that prove that the candidate is a natural born citizen, prove the candidate’s age and prove that the candidate meets the residency requirements for President of the United States…
On the one hand, way to go, Arizona! Way to succumb to that fringe of American politics that even the Libertarians and Greens don’t want!
On the other hand, though, why call this the “birther” bill? It could just as easily be an anti-birther bill. Since there just doesn’t seem to be any stopping the hard-core birthers among us, no matter how much “proof” and “reason” and “logic” we use in our attempts to do so, maybe taking a step like this is a good idea. Candidates will more widely spread their official documents before it can become an issue. States will officially accept those documents and, thus, the candidates, which will provide anti-momentum against any such “controversy” in the future.
Maybe? Yeah, probably not. At any rate, I expect the media to treat this story as though Arizona has gone full-bore birther, thus it won’t ever get anywhere.

I am adopted. I have TWO birth certificates. The one the state certifies as “Official” is the one that is full of lies. My original birth certificate tells the truth.
Perhaps you didn’t know this occurred?
What the hell’s that got to do with anything? Are you suggesting that Obama’s adopted?
Look,
Whether or not there is anything to the “Birther” issue, it remains a fact that there is no person or body outside of the state Secretary of State to determine whether a candidate meets the criteria (and all states have them) to be put on an election ballot. Arizona just passed a law to ensure that we have eligible candidates on our ballot when we vote.
Second, whether there is anything to the “Birther” controversy, what cannot be disputed is that Obama has gone to great lengths to seal a whole hell of a lot of records. The same with the FLOTUS. Why?
The “Birther” issue could have been put to bed months ago with him authorizing the state of Hawaii to release the long form birth certificate. I just have to ask myself, why?

Two points.
Point 1. Yes, Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro.
Point 2. It proves that State Issued birth certificates don’t prove anything unless they are signed by a witness to the birth.

I would further point out that considering how many people don’t understand what the term “Natural Born Citizen” means, there’s a good chance that the Hawaii Secretary of Records is not qualified to make that determination.
In other words, Dr. Fukimo is probably ignorant about what constitutes “natural born citizen.”
