Looks like the U.S. Geological Service is a bunch of damned deniers.
We continue to be asked by many people throughout the world if earthquakes are on the increase. Although it may seem that we are having more earthquakes, earthquakes of magnitude 7.0 or greater have remained fairly constant.
According to the information here, earthquakes of magnitude 6.0 and under are sharply down from previous years, and 2010 appears – so far – to be right in line.
So if global warming or female promiscuity or whatnot is responsible for earthquakes, they’re no more responsible for them than they ever have been in the past. Less, in fact. So stick that in your turban and scratch it, Hojatoleslam.
