Reasons today is special:

Besides today being Earth Day, the day we all take a moment to be thankful for the Earth (because without the Earth we’d have nowhere to keep all our stuff), today is unique for a number of reasons. In no particular order:

• The first day of the 2010 NFL Draft;

• Vladimir Ilych Lenin’s 140th birthday;

(wasn’t he a button when he was four?)

• and the 10th anniversary of the raid that sent Elian Gonzales back to Cuba.

You may notice that one of these things is not like the others.
