Wisconsin’s GOP had to move their 2010 convention at almost the last possible minute…

…because the original venue was too small to hold all the people coming:

The Republican Party of Wisconsin is moving Saturday’s convention program from the Hyatt Regency Hotel to the Frontier Airlines Center because attendance will be larger than expected.

Party spokeswoman Kristin Ruesch said attendance is expected to be 1,300 to 1,500. Last year, about 700 people attended the convention, she said.

And that 700 was more than expected, too.
