Best-looking Congressional race…ever! An Update:

May 21, 2010

The question is: does this make the race for Wisconsin’s 7th one-third less good looking, or one-third more good looking (via the Law of Supply)?

I believe we would run a strong campaign and provide the voters another voice to consider as their Representative. I would like to thank my supporters for getting me this far, but I will instead use their encouragement as a new starting point in my public service. I will focus on Central Wisconsin and not seek election to the office of United States Representative for the 7th Congressional District.

That’s the young-Donny-Osmondesque Louis Molepske…

…a Democratic state assemblyman, announcing that he will not challenge the youthful and attractive Democratic State Sen. Julie Lassa…

…in the 7th CD primary for a chance to take on the youthful and attractive Republican front-runner Sean Duffy.

Assuming, of course, that Duffy can defeat his somewhat less-attractive Republican rival Dan Mielke.

Previously: Could Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District race be the best-looking Congressional race…ever?

Note: any sexism inferred from any portion of the preceding blog post is entirely the fault of the reader for inferring it.

Another note: yes, I am stooping to this level of political discourse. I’ve been serious all day, dammit, and I’m done with it.
