Megan McArdle: too tall to be wrong
I’m pretty sure Megan McArdle is agreeing with my post from yesterday, in which I called Paul Krugman a putz and postulated that his putzery is entirely independent of current economic trends.
To be clear, though: she’s not agreeing that Krugman is a putz. She may believe that, but she’s not saying so. Not publicly.
She’s also not “agreeing,” in a literal sense, with my post. She’s just kind of making the same argument. Which is pretty sweet, from my point of view, because she is an economist.
I should really become one of those.
Read it. You know she’s right. She’s too tall to be wrong.
