Bugs Bunny had a birthday yesterday
Via Instapundit (hey, he linked me, it’s only polite), Rand Simberg:
He doesn’t look a day over thirty.
Take a look at those candles though. They look like they might be firecrackers disguised as carrots to me. Was Daffy involved?
Anyway, as my little tribute, here’s the opening of my favorite ever Bugs cartoon.
I wish I could figure out how to embed the video. And I sure wish I could find the rest of that cartoon, anyone know anything?

Hi – The cartoon is called “What’s Opera, Doc.” Released in 1957, it is now available on “The Looney Tunes Golden Collection, Volume 2″ DVD box set. We purchased our set at Amazon.
Love your blog!

Thanks Bev. I’m still hoping to find it on the web somewhere but Looney Tunes DVDs do seem like a sound investment.
