A word about “my currently favorite quote” and “my currently favorite picture.”

We all know just how feast-or-famine blogging can be. Some days, you can’t find anything you want to write about. Other days, you don’t have time to blog it all.

The same thing goes for my “favorite quote” and “favorite picture” features, found conveniently at the top of the right-hand sidebar. Sometimes, I’ll leave the same stuff up there for weeks, just because nothing new catches my eye. Other times, I’m finding new stuff every couple of days.

The problem there being: I don’t like changing them every couple of days. I find something I really like, I want to give it some time at the top. On the other hand, though, sometimes these things are timely. It won’t be as good next week as it is right now.

So I’m posting these now, here, instead of later, on the side bar.

My woulda-been currently favorite quote:

In case you’re wondering: yes. I am collecting all the quotes in one place. The pictures – well, yeah, but I’ve slipped on those a few times. Someday, I’ll post them all at once.
