What’s going on with Jimmy Carter lately?

Has anyone else noticed how much Jimmy Carter’s been in the news for…what, a week or so now? And all for saying weird stuff:

• How Ted Kennedy stopped single-payer health care in the 1970s;

• Calling himself one of the best former presidents…evah;

• Slamming Obama on Israel policies.

And now:

“This country has become so polarized that its almost astonishing…. Not only with the red and blue states… President Obama suffers from the most polarized situation in Washington that we have ever seen – even maybe than the time of Abraham Lincoln and the initiation of the war between the states.”
