Does this sound like a bad idea to anybody else?
Given the generally high level of anti-zombie preparedness that exists today?
Zombie attacks were seen in major cities across the globe as a promotion for a new show from AMC, “The Walking Dead.”
Note: it was just a promotion. Not actual zombie attacks.
Hundreds of people dressed up like zombies and wandered around Taipei, Hong Kong, Washington DC, and many more cities to promote the show before Halloween. In all, the event will be staged in 26 cities around the world. A final attack is scheduled to occur at a screening for the new TV show in Los Angeles, where all the cast, crew and media will view the first episode before it premieres.
“The Walking Dead” is based on a comic book series of the same name that follows survivors of a worldwide undead epidemic as they travel across the United States seeking safety and shelter and premieres on October 31st on AMC.
That’s all well and good. I just wouldn’t want to be the insurance company providing liability insurance for AMC, or whoever’s organizing this “promotion.”
I also wouldn’t want to be part of the crowd enjoying the “promotional” zombie attacks if an actual zombie attack were to break out at the same time.
Dunno. It just seems ill-conceived.

Well, we masses are pretty much trained to not believe our own eyes and ears at this point, no?
But if a crowd of zombies pop up while I’m out with my kids, they would totally. freak. And I would be totally. angry.
cheers
Well I hope you’re not armed, at least. If it’s just a fake zombie horde.
