Ann Althouse gets a death threat
Somebody commented on her Youtube page, saying “whoever video taped this has no life and needs to be shot in the head.”
The video is of snowplows driving around the Capitol Square and honking, apparently in support of the union protesters.
I’d like to say I’ve got Ann’s back, but security around the Capitol is so thick I’ll never get in and out in time to help walk her from office to car. Funny that she’d get a comment like that (although I’m sure the commenter has no idea who she is). Ann is about as objective as a blogger can be. Far more objective than this blogger, that’s for sure.

You know, it really was rather smart of the Republicans to let the protest/exile peter out over time. The teachers couldn’t keep canceling school, and the group at the Capitol will, more and more, be UW students/TAs and old Madison lefties with more radical slogans. The legislators-in-hiding look more and more ineffectual and more and more Chicago. I don’t think these developments are increasing political support around the state.
Me, neither, but like I said, I’m not exactly objective.
