Y’know, the reason the economy is down right now is because of all you people affirmatively deciding not to buy more stuff.
And that’s hurting a lot of people, you guys deciding not to spend more money. If you’d spend more, the economy would get better. More jobs, less unemployment. So you have to be forced – by federal law, if necessary – to spend more money on consumer goods and such.
