Shameless Dems Fundraising Off NPR: ‘Now the Republicans Want to Control the News’
These are the same people who’ve waged a jihad against Rush Limbaugh and Fox News for years. No, they’re fair and impartial observers. It’s the Republicans who want to control the flow of information!
Here’s a snippet of the fundraising email (emphasis from JWF):
“First, they tried to restrict access to reproductive health care. Then, they proposed catastrophic cuts to teachers, nurses, and researchers,” reads the appeal from DCCC Chairman Rep. Steve Israel (N.Y.). “Now the Republicans want to control the news.”
More:
“Liberals have controlled the news for decades,” Rep. Israel went on to say, “and look at all the good it’s done for us. President ‘Present,’ a Senate leader whose big ideas are outlawing prostitution and protecting cowboy poetry, and that’s all after the voters threw us out of office in record numbers last year.”
“Do Americans really want leaders so stupid that they’d waste time trying to emulate us?” Israel asked.
