As governor, Mitt Romney accomplished a feat that most Republicans would have thought impossible. With the single stroke of a pen he convinced the liberal population of Massachusetts that they, too, hate government-run health care.
I’ve always wondered how liberal some of today’s liberals would be if they actually had to live under real liberal policies.
One of the lies they tell about “universal health care” is how it will lower the costs, because if everyone is insured, they won’t need to go to the ER as much.
They did a study in Massachusetts, and found that yes, nearly everyone was covered and still the ER usage was high. No savings.
Even the Dems are putting out tributes to Romney over Romneycare. They figure it greased the skids for Obamacare.
