He netted 11 votes in Milwaukee County’s canvass, which was the only one still outstanding:
With the Milwaukee County canvass now in, The Associated Press has declared Justice David Prosser the winner in his race against JoAnne Kloppenburg.
The certified county canvass netted 11 votes for Prosser, giving him a lead of 7,316 votes.
Joanne Kloppenburg is still within her rights to ask for a recount, but overcoming that kind of margin – especially in the computer age – seems a bit much.
She should just concede. For the good of the state.
