You mean “blue” as in sad? Or “blue” as in Democrat?

April 29, 2011

Or am I just repeating myself? Fishersville Mike:

Green jobs leave the current economy blue.

Does anybody else think the word “current” is superfluous there?

Anyway, back to my question: I think he must mean “blue” as in “sad.” Because the “current” economy is going to turn things red pretty soon. Even more red than they already are.

And no, I don’t mean bloody. Sheesh.

Is it green jobs leaving the economy “sad” or is it misguided politicians? And how can we turn that sad economy “Red”? Here’s a way to start: maybe Republicans can starting doing what they claim to want to do, i.e. lower taxes and less regulation. Instead they’re pushing bills that add “access charges” to our telecom usage. Sounds like a tax to me. Just heard about this, it’s outrageous

Blue is sad, as Crystal Gayle sang “Don’t it make my brown eyes blue.”
