It doesn’t bother me that Barack Obama has played golf an average of 2.5 times a month while he’s been in office.

It doesn’t bother me that the president takes vacations, either. And it doesn’t really bother me that the President played golf on Memorial Day. Lots of people played golf on Memorial Day. Criticizing the President for playing golf or taking vacations is just something the out-of-power side always levels at the in-power side.

But, fer cry-eye, could one of the highly-paid professionals at the White House notice that it’s just bad PR? Or, y’know, maybe somebody there who’s really smart and went to Harvard or something?

You’re the President! You can go golfing next week! When it doesn’t look as bad!
