Why doesn’t Obama release some of our strategic java reserve? WHY?

Alternate title: Good thing we’ve got 30,000 troops coming out of Afghanistan soon, because we’re gonna need them in South America. And maybe the Carribbean.
Heads up, people. The apocalypse is nigh:
Coffee prices nearly double, with no relief in sight
Coffee prices are up because of rising demand, higher fuel costs. High coffee prices has roasters, retailers struggling to cover costs.
The price of a pound of raw coffee beans has almost doubled in 12 months. Now consumers are cutting back, roasters are struggling and retailers are scrambling to cover costs.
This proves that Obama is anti-American!
Why no outcry? From Starbucks down to the local supermarket, this hits alot of Americans. Thought they cared about the poor. Well, it will be paper towels and pre-used grounds to go with the mac and cheese. No new pots with fresh beans. Guess that guy with the donkey who picked the beans, Senor Juan Valdez, must be sitting pretty on his rancho. Hey Senor Valdez, remember who paid for that rancho. Show some amor.
