As Danica Patrick prepares to (finally) move into NASCAR full-time, the media desperately tries to gin up yet another model/driver to compete with her

The story:

Canadian driver Maryeve Dufault will make her NASCAR debut on Saturday in the Nationwide Series Napa Auto Parts 200 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Dufault, who started racing in the ARCA Series this year, was briefly model on the Price is Right and according to IMDB, was a player for the New York Euphoria in the 2005 Lingerie Bowl.

Well, good. At least she’ll have that to fall back on when the whole “compete with Danica” thing falls through.

UPDATE - Since Stacy McCain’s trying to ride the “Maryeve Dufault bikini” google bomb, let’s have us a little comparison. Maryeve vs. Danica, bikini showdown:

Hey, I’m not saying that Dufault is ugly. But look at those. She doesn’t even compare. And…oh, did I cherry-pick my pictures? You bet I did. A professionally-taken, airbrushed and soft-lit portfolio shot for Dufault, an unscripted, impromptu, probably paparazzi-taken shot for Danica.

And she still looks better.
