Maybe the Obama administration wanted to avoid being criticized over exorbitant paint costs?

I thought this was weird, too. Mike at Cold Fury put pictures of Sarah Palin’s bus next to President Obama’s bus, and:
It’s not like you can miss either one of them. You know where they are, and where they’re going, and who’s in them. But one has a badass American patriot paint job, and the other’s just…black. Not even a presidential seal. No American flag. Just pure black, like they can maybe sneak up on people without being seen?
What are they, ninjas?
Just for comparison’s sake, have a look at Obama’s 2008 tour bus:
Hey, look, a paint job!
Not that it means anything. I’m just curious. Why wouldn’t you put something on the bus’ exterior? You’re not fooling anybody!

Maybe O was trying to sell the space on the side of the bus to the highest bidder, and there were no bidders.
No wonder he hasn’t outlined his deficit reduction program; it obviously did not work.
