“‘Black Death’ bacteria likely extinct, study finds” – I blame global warming

August 31, 2011

I wonder how much tax money went into this:

The bacteria that caused the Black Death, which wiped out millions in mid-14th century Europe, may be extinct, according to a new study.

They dug up a bunch of centuries-old dead people. I wonder how many zombies they found?

The upside: no more Black Death. The downside: the Black Death is only one kind of bubonic plague-causing bacteria, and there are still others around today.

But hey, at least you won’t have died from the Black Death, right? Because that would just be cool.

It is obvious that the eradication of the Black Death bacteria was accomplished by Tea Party scientists as practice for Tea Party plans to lynch Blacks- according to Andre Carson (D-IN)

I was going to object, because bubonic plague occurs at least once or twice every year in the Southwest. But I see your point about there being other kinds.
