Well, it’s a good thing he can foresee this stuff so he can do something about it before it happens, then.
The preparations are underway, right?
Mayor Bloomberg predicts riots in the streets if economy doesn’t create more jobs
Mayor Bloomberg warned Friday there would be riots in the streets if Washington doesn’t get serious about generating jobs.
“We have a lot of kids graduating college, can’t find jobs,” Bloomberg said on his weekly WOR radio show.
“That’s what happened in Cairo. That’s what happened in Madrid. You don’t want those kinds of riots here.”
“We’re preparing our plans for just such a crisis as we speak,” Bloomberg went on to say. “I understand the frustration, but rioting won’t help. We won’t be having any destruction of property or disruption of daily business in this city. We’ll call out the troops before that happens.”
Yeah, he didn’t really say that. But we hope he’s thinking it, don’t we? Instead of…you know…this?

He’s not against rioting. Unless they’re smoking while rioting. Then the National Guard comes out.
