I dunno: would Palin still be a rock star with Tea Parties and conservatives and grassroots Republicans, even without all the liberal/Democrat tolerance on display? My lines of communication with the rest of the multiverse are down right now so I can’t check in with any alternate universes, but I’m guessing: yes.
