The other 57% think regular access to soap and toilet paper is, in fact, important.
Poll:
Caution: polls suck. Also: I’m wondering exactly what question they asked to achieve that 43%? And what other questions preceded that question?
Did they ask anything about destroying capitalism? Communal property? Forgiving student loans? The right of drummers to drum past 2 a.m. on school nights?
I’m guessing not.
Did they ask about the government enacting privileges and exemptions and special tax statuses and loan guarantees from the public treasury for big business, thereby incentivizing big business to spend big on political campaigns to protect exactly those exemptions, etc.?
Again, I’m guessing not. Because if they had, that number would be far higher than 43%.
