Those are some fun storylines for tomorrow’s Dallas-Buffalo game.

Storyline #1: Jerry Jones had to tear down Buffalo’s star running back Fred Jackson’s childhood home to build his ridiculously overbuilt stadium:

If Fred Jackson’s looking for some extra motivation for this weekend’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, he can always remember the fact that Jerry Jones tore down his childhood home.

In fairness to Jones, this happened way before he ever knew of Fred Jackson, and a lot of other peoples’ homes suffered the same fate. See, Jones needed someplace to build his new stadium, and that happened to be the site of Fred Jackson’s old neighborhood. The Bills official website tells the story in this video.

Jackson is, according to reports, okay with the whole thing.

“Definitely during pregame, when I’m out there getting loose, trying to figure out, piece it together, you know, ‘This is my friend Jason’s house, would be right here where I am now.’ Things like that, I’m sure, will be going through my head during pregame, and I’ll definitely be looking for stuff like that.”

Storyline #2: one of Buffalo’s wide receivers is dating one of the Cowboys cheerleaders:

David Nelson’s girlfriend will cheer for other men on Sunday

If Buffalo Bills wide receiver David Nelson scores a touchdown on Sunday, he may glance around Cowboys Stadium in search of his girlfriend. If he’s able to find her, though, the look he gets back might be a little grumpier and more pouty than he’d like.
She’s a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

Here’s Kelsi’s bio page (yes, pictures included).

This is a tough one for David. On the one hand, you’d figure your girl would be all giggly-impressed with a guy who catches three touchdowns in a pro football game. Nelson’s got 35 catches for 405 yards so far this season, including three TDs. So a score isn’t out of the question.

On the other hand, if you catch them against her favorite team…

I guess the question is: how big a fan is Kelsi? And, seriously, is that how her name’s spelled on her birth certificate? Because, dang.

UPDATE - Nelson scored, and gave Kelsi the ball:

David Nelson chose love when celebrating his touchdown in Buffalo’s game in Dallas. After catching a TD in the second quarter, he immediately ran over to his girlfriend, Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Kelsi Reisch, hugged her and handed her the ball.

Nelson said earlier this week that he had something planned in case he was close to her when he scored a TD. He actually had to run up the length of the field to give her the ball, but he did it all for the glory of love. Somewhere, Peter Cetera is applauding.

Yeah, because it’s such a huge sacrifice to get a hug from a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader on national TV. Poor guy.

Ha. I guess you could say that Nelson scored, and then he scored!
