Y’know, normally, I’d really be looking forward to the Penn St./Nebraska game today…
…but I’m just not. Because you just know the commentators are going to be talking nonstop about the child-rape scandal. And, while yes, that’s important, I don’t want to hear about it nonstop during a football game. I want to hear about the football game.
But I’m betting we won’t. It’s…gonna…be…constant. They’ll spend four hours trying to prove how much they care, and how painful it all is.
What do you think? Does this make me a bad person? Or is this just more evidence that I was already a bad person?

You are not a bad person. Far from. Maybe a teeny bit cynical. But this IS a bad, bad situation and people are angry. Really, really angry. It is just one more ugly reflection of how very broken so many things in our culture are. So while you have every right to want something to be a certain way (football the way it was a couple weeks ago)—not gonna happen. And this is very, very painful…
You might be a bad person, but not because of that.
