Look, I’m not saying the Keystone XL pipeline isn’t important…
…or that I’m not completely on board with building that sucker as fast as possible and letting the sweet, sweet crude flow right into the good ol’ U.S. of A where it’ll finally bring gas prices back down to two bucks (or so), thus freeing up more of my hard-earned money for spending on food, clothes, movies, and other various and sundry items that will, in turn, put more money in other people’s pockets, which they will then spend, save, invest, whatever.
It’s good all around.
It’s just…that name. Keystone. I can’t hear it without thinking of the Keystone Kops, or, worse:
On the other hand, hell, let’s put him in charge of energy policy. He couldn’t do any worse than the people running it now.
